The main goal of Gothenburg AMBLE, is to bring together scientists and teachers from education sciences, psychology and neuroscience in order to facilitate teaching, public information and policy discussions on early childhood education.

AMBLE aims at executing, stimulating and coordinating collaborative research projects with a focus on optimizing learning environments and educational practices that influence cognitive outcomes. Gothenburg AMBLE not only aims to perform research on its own, but also intends to  include teachers and other stakeholders right from the planning stage. AMBLE aims at raising public awareness around research and new knowledge in this area, particularly in the fields of cognition and neuroscience. Moreover, the AMBLE will engage in local and national public events in order to disseminate new knowledge and stimulate curriculum and policy discussions on early childhood education.
